Spoiler alert: The mango-pineapple one disappeared first.
Sometimes, all you need is a pitcher of juice, a slushie machine, and a handful of gummy bears to turn an ordinary Saturday into a mini celebration. That’s exactly what happened when we decided to host a DIY slushie bar in our backyard last weekend.
And yes—it was a hit.
We wanted something fun, interactive, and chill (literally) for a casual get-together with friends and family.
The GreenEver Slushie Machine made it insanely easy: no ice, no blender mess, and no guesswork. Just juice + button + wait 15 minutes = frozen magic.
We prepped a colorful table with labeled pitchers, toppings, and cups. Here's what was on the menu:
Mango + Pineapple (tropical, smooth, sunshine in a cup)
Strawberry Lemonade (tangy, kid favorite)
Grape + Blueberry (deep color, grown-up flavor)
Cold Brew + Oat Milk + Caramel Drizzle (yes, iced frappé alert!)
Watermelon + Lime + Vodka (for the adults, obviously)
The best part? Guests could pour, press the machine’s Custom Mode, and watch it chill their drink in real time.
We laid out bowls of:
Gummy bears
Sour strips
Crushed Oreos
Coconut flakes
Fresh mint
Whipped cream
It was like a frozen dessert bar met a juice stand at a beach party. The kids made “rainbow slushies,” the adults added their own kick, and everyone ended up Instagramming their cups.
Keep drinks pre-chilled so freezing is faster
Use clear cups so guests can show off their layers
Set the slushie machine on a stable table with a power strip
Print little flavor cards or have a “Mix of the Day” board
Offer napkins—cold drinks + candy = sticky fingers
The DIY slushie bar turned into more than a drink station—it became the hangout spot. People gathered, laughed, experimented with combos, and went back for seconds. Some even asked, “Where’d you get this machine?”
(Answer: right here 😉)
If you’re looking for an easy way to upgrade your next BBQ, birthday, or weekend gathering, trust us: frozen drinks are the new party trick.
