Recipe: Chocolate Protein Slushie

Ingredients

  • 2 medium bananas
  • 4 scoops chocolate protein powder (~120g total)
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter or almond butter
  • 3 cups milk or plant-based milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)


Steps
1️⃣ Prepare the ingredients – slice the banana and measure all other ingredients.

2️⃣ Blend the base – In a blender, combine the banana, protein powder, cocoa powder, peanut butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Blend for 30 seconds until well combined but not completely smooth.

3️⃣ Pour into a slushie machine – pour the blended mixture into a slushie machine.

4️⃣ Make the slushie – start the machine and let it run until the liquid has the texture of a slushie (approximately 30-45 min).

5️⃣ Enjoy – Pour into 2 glasses, garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a banana slice, and enjoy this creamy, protein-packed treat! 🍫🥤
